Nu Skin’s portfolio boasts of different skin care device systems that are used with cosmetic formulations in the comfort of your own home. Nu Skin was proudly ranked the world’s number one at-home beauty device system brand for 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020 by Euromonitor International Ltd.* This achievement is no small feat, it has been years in the making. Each one of Nu Skin’s skin care devices offers a variety of benefits ranging from anti-aging (reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles) and cleansing. Below, you will find brief descriptions of each device and how they can address your skin care needs.
GALVANIC SPA® SYSTEM
Nu Skin launched its first at-home spa system in 2001.This first edition of the Galvanic Spa was a premiere anti-aging system that eliminated the need for a trained esthetician. It was designed to work with a set of gel formulations providing pre-treatment and treatment steps.
Updates to the Galvanic Spa System continued to take place for many years. In 2004, interchangeable conductor heads were offered, expanding the product line to include a body formula. Then in 2007, another conductor head was launched to target smaller areas. In 2010, the ageLOC edition of Galvanic Spa was developed to leverage the ageLOC technology now becoming available in this line of products. This change also leveraged a new, unique, and exclusive face conductor that helped recycle the product in the most critical areas between the conductor and the skin.
NU SKIN® FACIAL SPA
The US market launched the Nu Skin Facial Spa as a medical device in 2014. This product system met the USFDA regulatory requirements of a Class II medical facial toning device. When used with a conductive gel, the Facial Spa helps stimulate facial skin to make the skin look more voluminous and contoured. In 2014 the Nu Skin Facial Spa (available exclusively in the United States) became available to the public. **
